About the App
TwoCents is an interactive financial literacy platform designed to empower the future generation with essential money skills. Our Nanolearning-based app combines education, gamification, and real-world applications to make learning about money fun, practical, and impactful. We offer structured courses (CentBites) on key financial topics like Economics, Budgeting, and Investing, broken into bite-sized subtopics. Each course includes short videos for engaging explanations, flashcards for quick revision, and interactive games that turn learning into an exciting experience.
For example, users can test their knowledge through quizzes, solve financial puzzles, or participate in simulations like our Indian Stock Market Simulator, where they trade with virtual money and build portfolios in a risk-free environment. In the future, we’ll introduce dynamic competitions across various financial topics, allowing users to apply their skills in real-world scenarios. With #TwoCents, the future generation doesn’t just learn about money, they experience it in a way that’s engaging, practical, and empowering.
MEET THE FOUNDER
Hi, I'm Samit Mandhare, a 16-year-old with a passion for football, economics, and making a difference. As a teenager, I've always been fascinated by how small, everyday decisions, like saving a few rupees or understanding how markets work, can shape the bigger picture. This curiosity has driven me to dive deep into the world of economics and personal finance, always observing how the micro connects to the macro.
I'm someone who believes in the power of perseverance and attention to detail. Whether it's analyzing the strategies of a football match or breaking down complex financial concepts into simple ideas, I enjoy finding patterns and connections that others might overlook.
My goal is to use my love for learning and problem-solving to create meaningful change, especially in areas where young people like me can grow and thrive. I'm just a teenager trying to make a difference, one small step at a time.
